Lady Gaga Tweets 'Million Reasons' Teaser Video For Mysterious 'Love Project' With Director Brett Ratner

Lady Gaga has posted a new video clip set to her top 10 song "Million Reasons" on her Twitter account, encouraging viewers to spread and grow love around the world. The clip is a teaser for "The Love Project," a mysterious new collaboration with famous director Brett Ratner.

Lady Gaga Hot Once Again

Lady Gaga is on a roll these days. It all began after her highly praised performance at Super Bowl 51, in which she jumped off the roof and lowered herself down to perform some of her greatest hits, including "Poker Face," "Just Dance," "Born This Way," and "Bad Romance." Gaga performed just one song from her latest album Joanne, the emotional ballad "Million Reasons," which leapt to the number 4 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 and helped propel the album all the way up to the number 2 position.

Gaga is now capitalizing on her re-found mojo and the success of "Million Reasons" to launch a mysterious new project, which appears to be of a philanthropic nature. "The Love Project" is a collaboration between the singer and acclaimed director Brett Ratner, who got the ball rolling earlier this week when he posted two pictures of himself and Gaga on the set of the project on Instagram, the second of which also contained the hashtag #lovein3words.

Then, Gaga posted a video entitled "For a Million Reasons We Need Love Now" and a statement that referenced her charity, the Born This Way foundation, reading "I'm so proud @BTWFoundation and I are partnering with #theloveproject2017. Show us your #lovein3words." The thirty-second clip features various relationships that all appear to depict love and is set to "Million Reasons." At the end, it also reveals participation from cosmetics giant Revlon and announces that details of the project will be revealed during the Academy Awards ceremony on Feb. 26.

Ratner, who has directed the Rush Hour series and X-Men: The Last Stand, among other films, was coy in giving any further details, only stating "it was fantastic to work with Lady Gaga and Revlon on The Love Project and to spread the message of love, acceptance and positivity at a time when it is so greatly needed."

In addition to "The Love Project", Gaga has a busy year ahead of her. She is set to star in the Judy Garland role in the remake of A Star Is Born, which shoots this spring, and then embark on the Joanne world tour beginning in August.
