The T-Mobile Offer
It is not known if the T-Mobile offer is a limited period one and, therefore, it is advisable that those looking to snag the Samsung Gear S2 Classic smartwatch should hurry.
The offer is as good as it gets and is practically a steal. By comparison, the Gear S2 Classic's U.S. version is available for $249.99 on e-retailer Amazon, which is a savings of $100.
To purchase the Gear S2 Classic from T-Mobile, consumers will also need a SIM Starter Kit which shall be added automatically to the account. This is an additional $20, so technically a consumer will be paying $116 for the Samsung smartwatch.
There is a minor caveat for consumers in Denver as T-Mobile reveals that they may not get 4G connectivity if the smartwatch is not paired with a compatible smartphone. The Gear S2 is now compatible even with iPhones as reported.
Moreover, the Gear S2 has also benefited from features of the Gear S3 courtesy a new update that was rolled out in December 2016.
The update brought with it's the Gear S3 watch faces for the Gear S2, more access to the games in the Galaxy App Store, automatic tracking, S Health workout modes, wider support for widgets, improvement to native apps, enhanced personalization and more.
