Marvel announces awesome Attack on Titan crossover for Japan: No plans for U.S. release

One of the best manga available right now is Attack on Titan. It is probably better than the likes of Naruto and Bleach, but not many readers will admit to that.

To prove how popular Attack on Titan has become, Marvel has teamed up with the creator to bring forth a crossover Manga that will include several Marvel superheroes.

Marvel's C.B. Cebulski confirmed the crossover on Twitter, when he posted an official image of Spiderman swinging away from the deadly Titans. At the moment, the plan is to release this manga exclusively in Japan, but we're guessing that if it turns out to be something special, a release in the United States shouldn't be too far off.

We're not sure how Marvel plans to incorporate the Titans into its world, but it would be great if Thanos is behind it, or some crazy mad scientists seeking to take over the world. Yes, we are tired of villains aiming to take over the earth, but this would be the likely end game.

Fans who enjoy the blood and gore in the official Attack on Titan manga, should not expect something similar in the Marvel crossover. One should always bear in mind that Marvel is now owned by Disney, so stuff with rivers of blood and humans losing their limbs will not happen in this crossover.

Furthermore, if Marvel wants to convert this crossover into a manga that is worth reading, then without a doubt the Bruce Banner should make a massive appearance. Have him Hulk out and destroy Titans from every angle; the fans demand it.

In addition, allow one of the heroes to gain the ability to transform into a Titan in similar ways to Eren. Admit it ladies and gentlemen, that would be ten kinds of awesome if Marvel should ever consider this.

There's no official release date of the Marvel/Attack on Titan crossover. However, if we should attempt to make an accurate guess about this, then we'd go with 2015. Exactly when in 2015? Well, that's up to Marvel to announce at this point because we're not capable of seeing into the future.
