Nintendo Switch Gets 3 More Launch Titles: 'World Of Goo,' 'Little Inferno,' And 'Human Resource Machine'

Game studio Tomorrow Corporation has jumped into the Nintendo Switch bandwagon, announcing that three of its titles will also be heading to the new console. The titles will get a March 3 release, the same day the Switch will hit store shelves.

Nintendo Switch Launch Titles

The games include World of Goo, Little Inferno, and Human Resource Machine. They will be joining launch titles that include Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, Just Dance 2017, Skylanders Imaginators, Super Bomberman R, and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+.

The list is bound to expand especially after leaked information revealed more titles are due to be announced. This is quite important because as observers point out, the number and quality of game lineup at launch could help or hamper the Switch from attaining commercial success.

Exclusive Switch Bundle

In an official statement, Tomorrow Corporation also declared that all of its three titles will get bundled with their full original soundtracks and this offering seems exclusive to the Switch platform.

If you are wondering how those soundtracks will enhance gameplay, the bundled titles will be featuring a Soundtrack Mode. According to Tomorrow Games, players can explore these audio scores, which have been produced by Kyle Gabler. It is not yet clear if by saying explore, gamers will be able to mix and match tunes.

"We here at Tomorrow Corporation are some of Nintendo's biggest fans, so we're excited to be part of this new adventure alongside players at home, on the road, on the train, on the roof, or wherever it is kids go these days!" the company said.

Demand For The New Gaming Console

Aside from the increasing number of content available at launch, the novelty seems to be helping Switch generate sales. The new console has been up for preorder since Jan. 13 but it has already been sold out.

Video games retailer GameStop already declared that its allotments have been used up and this is also the story in the case of other retailers.

Fortunately, Nintendo seems to have anticipated huge demand. A previous report has indicated that the company will have 2 million Switch devices ready during its official global launch. Hopefully, any chance of shortage would be low.

Overall, Tomorrow Corporation's commitment to the Switch console signals a promising way forward. At this stage some analysts are already predicting that Nintendo could ship as many as 40 million units by 2020. That is quite an ambitious figure, amounting to three times the number of Wii U sold within four years of its launch.
