The main selling point of the Blu Life Max is its humungous battery pack, which could place it among the longest lasting devices today. According to Blu, the 3,700 mAh module can power the handset for up to three days with standard usage.
While one will hardly consider the Life Max a flagship device, it still ships with features such as fingerprint sensor, curved glass display, and an 8-megapixel rear facing camera. Like the main camera, the 5-megapixel selfie shooter also has a LED flash.
The design and construction is also quite decent. It has a polished metal frame and soft touch back cover, which collectively results in what Blu claims a streamlined design philosophy.
For the price, you will also get a quad-core 1.3 GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 processor on board along with a Mali-T720 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage space. The device also supports 4G LTE.
Display, Software And Compatibility
At first glance, you will wonder how the Life Max is able to sustain its claim of three-day battery life when it must power a 5.5-inch screen. This could be explained by the fact that the handset only boasts of a 720p display, making it less of power hungry.
Unfortunately, the Life Max is not going to ship with Android Nougat as it will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box.
