Samsung fans in Europe have some exciting news headed their way. The Galaxy S7 Edge sporting the much-awaited Blue Coral hue is set to become available for purchase soon.
Consumers in Europe will soon be able to lay their hands on the Blue Coral color of the popular Samsung smartphone according to a new leak.
The Blue Coral variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge has been listed on the Samsung Netherlands website. It also lists the handset as "available soon" alongside other existing color options.
Although buyers will not be able to order the smartphone in the new color immediately, Samsung will likely make the option available for purchase in the coming days.
In November 2016, Tech Times reported that Samsung had officially confirmed that the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge would be making its way to the United States. This color was launched in Singapore in November 2016, prior to the U.S. availability announcement.
For the unfamiliar, Samsung had this color option for its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone as well. However, after the device's battery fiasco, the company had to discontinue the handset and may have thus opted to bring this color to its flagship Galaxy S7 Edge instead.
The Galaxy S7 Edge's front and rear sport a light blue hue with a Rose Gold trimming on the edges.
The Blue Coral color is symbolic of nature and shimmers as if it is illuminated from the phone's glass surface. The use of the contrasting Rose Gold-tone on the edges also lends the handset a premium feel. The two-toned combination is extremely calming and sophisticated.
The specs of the Blue Coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge remains the same. The mobile phone features a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen with a display resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The device houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM and it is available in 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage options.E
The Android-powered handset is equipped with a 12-megapixel (f/1.7 lens) rear-facing camera with autofocus, smile detection, face detection, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone also includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is IP68-certified, which means it is fully protected against dust and water if submerged in up to 1 meter deep water for up to 30 minutes.
In Netherlands, the Galaxy S7 Edge is currently available in black, white, pink, gold and silver colors.
