Along the way, users have to defeat different "OD," or "Overcharge Drinkers," of which there are a number of different types. Some of them explode if users get too close, and some respawn enemies.
Users will also run into criminals that can get in the way of things from time to time. While they are never too hard to beat, it is an interesting touch. In fact, none of the enemies are really very tough. Some are certainly interesting and fun, but the game isn't aimed at being impossible to beat.
