As part of Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals promotion, the company is selling the Xbox One S along with a free game and free controller for the standard price. Interested buyers can choose which free game to walk away with, but this is from a list of 10 Ubisoft games.
The offer works on all Xbox One S bundles available via the Microsoft Store right now. The 500 GB Xbox One S, along with the 1 TB and 2 TB versions, all have bundles with games such as Minecraft, Halo 5: Guardians, Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4 and FIFA 17. The Ubisoft game is just another addition, so in truth, folks will walk away with two games and a controller at no extra cost.
The free games list includes several 2016 games, which is great for folks who have yet to spend money on Ubisoft's newest titles of the year. The most notable on the list are probably Watchdogs 2, Rainbow Six Siege and The Division. The games launched with a few problems but have gotten better over time, especially The Division.
List Of Free Games

Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals kicked off on Dec. 5. On Dec. 7 Microsoft aims to offer several games at 50 percent off, so that's a great time to seek out some of the best games on the Xbox One you couldn't afford to purchase at full price.
Games such as Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Recore are some of the few titles set to get a huge slash in price for a limited time.
Come Dec. 11, Microsoft plans to cut the cost of the Xbox One down to $180. Bear in mind that this is the original Xbox One and not the newer version, the Xbox One S. Microsoft seems to be clearing out its inventory and may very well discontinue the original model to make room for the Xbox One S.
Microsoft shared a lot of information regarding the deal on its official blog.
While Microsoft is busy working on its gaming deals, Sony has decided to rock the gaming world with the announcement of The Last of Us 2 and other cool titles at PlayStation Experience 2016, including Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and PaRappa the Rapper.
All games announced at PlayStation Experience are expected to support Checkerboard 4K on the PlayStation 4 Pro, while a handful will likely support HDR for more vibrant colors.
