AT&T and T-Mobile are set to start shipping out the Samsung Gear S3 frontier with LTE connectivity.
That said, fans waiting for the smartwatch to finally become available are now probably left wondering about which carrier they should buy it from.
To help everyone decide, here's a quick look at what the two major U.S. carriers are bringing to the table.
AT&T Is The Earlier Bird
AT&T went ahead of the competition and began accepting preorders for the Gear S3 frontier on Nov. 4. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to roll out the wearable any sooner than the rest, as it's also expected to ship it out on Nov. 18.
Now, the carrier is offering it at $49.99 with a two-year contract when the customer purchases it with a Galaxy phone on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year.
Alternatively, subscribers can nab the smartwatch on an AT&T Installment Plan, and that'll cost them $17.50 a month for 20 months.
T-Mobile Coming Hot On AT&T's Heels
T-Mobile has recently announced that it's going to start carrying the Gear S3 frontier on Nov. 18, spreading the word via Twitter.
Even though AT&T already has it up for preorder, the magenta carrier still hasn't. That shouldn't be much of a concern, though, as the smartwatch will be available in a few days' time.
However, if that comes across as bad news, there's worse news in store: T-Mobile is going to sell the Gear S3 frontier for $399. That's $50 more than the suggested retail price and AT&T's offering.
In the Un-carrier's defense, it did say it's going to have "sweet deals" and that it always tries to keep offers competitive, so it might just have something up its sleeve.
At any rate, their stand in the competition isn't exactly looking good at this point.
Verdict: AT&T Or T-Mobile, Which Carrier Should You Choose?
For now, it seems that AT&T has the better offer, already putting the Gear S3 frontier up for preorder starting from $249.99.
On that note, T-Mobile customers might get a good plan for the smartwatch to go with their subscriptions, but that's not a sure thing just yet.
For those who don't want to buy it from either AT&T or T-Mobile, it should be pointed out that the Gear S3 frontier is included in Samsung's Black Friday 2016 deals, and it's set to go for only $299.99 instead of $349.99.
As a little refresher, the Gear S3 classic and frontier are slated to go live on Nov. 18, and they have some pretty big improvements across the board compared with the Gear S2.
