A screenshot of what is reportedly T-Mobile's internal inventory system shows the carrier is about to launch a new color option for the Galaxy S7 edge. The carrier will join AT&T in offering Blue Coral as an additional color choice in its smartphone lineup.
While Samsung is no longer selling the Galaxy Note 7, the company is using some of its more appealing options that were exclusively offered in the recalled phablet on its current devices. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 with a new and exclusive color option, Blue Coral, which proved to be extremely popular with consumers and came with an up to three-week wait compared to other color choices. Now that the Note 7 has been recalled, Samsung isn't going to let the popularity of Blue Coral go to waste.
Samsung Announces Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge
We reported in late October that Samsung was preparing to release a new hue in its Galaxy S7 edge lineup and that color option would be Blue Coral. AT&T was the first U.S. carrier to announce it would offer its customers the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge and we now know that T-Mobile will begin selling the smartphone soon.
TmoNews is reporting that one of its sources sent the above screenshot of what is supposedly T-Mobile's internal inventory system. The third line of the spreadsheet lists the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge as, "Sam G935T GS7 Edge 32G BLUE" and indicates it is a "New Product / Channel Filling."
T-Mobile Blue Coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Launch
The publication notes that T-Mobile and Samsung haven't made any official announcements about the launch date of the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge but two other devices included in the inventory listing, the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch and SyncUp Drive are both scheduled to launch on Nov. 18.
This could be the date of when the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge will be available from T-Mobile, especially considering that AT&T has announced it is planning to ship the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge between Nov. 14 and Nov. 16.
