ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is where we'll get our first real look at footage from next year's Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to Marvel's 2012 blockbuster. Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the sequel, which stars the entire cast of the first movie and some noteworthy new additions.
It comes as no surprise that this is where Marvel would choose to debut the first trailer for Age of Ultron on their live-action TV show, which is set in the same universe/continuity. Of course, attendees of this year's San Diego Comic-Con got a huge look at the film at a special panel that fans camped out overnight on the streets to see.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron debut trailer will air during the October 28, 2014 episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
