Sony has announced two new PlayStation 4 controllers called Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution for pro gamers.
On Wednesday, Oct. 26 Sony announced that the company has licensed the two PS4 controllers, which will be available to the Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe region later this year. Sony has not revealed the prices of the two upcoming controllers.
Sony says in a blog post that it wanted Nacon and Razer to use their expertise and knowledge to develop new pro controllers for PS4 gamers. Sony has optimized the two new controllers and they incorporate DualShock 4 controls, which will ensure that gamers get a great gaming experience with the controllers. The Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution offer plug-and-play experience and these controllers can be used with any PS4 model.
The Japanese gaming console maker suggests that each of these two controllers brings unique features.
"Designed for conquering professional eSports tournaments, the Razer Raiju is equipped with advanced controller customization and ergonomics," says Sony.
The Razer Raiju resembles DualShock 4 controller and it has two symmetrically placed thumbsticks. However, the Razer Raiju has two additional bumpers and a couple of extra detachable triggers. The controller also includes a built-in control panel on the front.
The hair trigger mode and trigger-stop switches bring ultra-fast trigger responses. The controller also has a couple of custom profiles that can be modified and switched between instantly.
The Razer Raiju will also have a 3.5mm headset jack, mic mute controls and dedicated headset volume.

The Nacon Revolution was developed keeping eSports players in mind. The controller features four additional shortcut buttons and two internal compartments with six additional weights that allow for a tailored feel and balance.
The controller has four custom profiles that may be configured through the companion PC application, which will offer various functionalities to players.
The design of the Nacon Revolution bears close resemblance to the Microsoft Xbox One controller. The left thumbstick is placed on the top half of the device in the Nacon Revolution.
More information about the Nacon Revolution will be coming soon to Nacon's official website.
Both the Razer Raiju and the Nacon Revolution will be available to gamers this holiday season. Sony has not revealed any details on pricing of the two upcoming controllers, but given the cost of other custom controllers, customers should expect the Raiju and the Revolution to have a steep price tag.
