Update: The Pixel and Pixel XL are now out of stock at the Google Store.
Google's Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are now officially available at the Google Store, Verizon and Best Buy.
That means the preorder period for the Phone by Google lineup is over. On that note, it's worth mentioning that those who jumped in on the action early via the Big Red scored a free Daydream View VR headset — that is, if they complete all the requirements.
Pixel From The Google Store
At the Google Store, customers can grab the 32 GB and 128 GB models of the Pixel and Pixel XL in Quite Black and Very Silver.
However, shipments are set to start next month, but those who have a lot of patience can go ahead and place an order there if they really want the smartphone directly from the Mountain View company itself.
Pixel From The Exclusive U.S. Carrier Verizon
Verizon offers all the variants of the Pixel and Pixel XL, and that includes the Really Blue color option, but it's only available in the 32 GB storage configuration.
The shipping dates vary, though. At the time of this writing, the 128 GB Very Silver Pixel and 32 GB Very Silver Pixel XL are set to roll out on Nov. 12.
Meanwhile, the 128 GB Very Silver Pixel XL, 128 GB Quite Black Pixel XL and 32 GB Really Blue Pixel XL are expected to ship out on Dec. 2.
As for the plans that the carrier has in store, the 32 GB Pixel is priced at $27.08 a month for 24 months and the 128 GB version at $31.24 a month for the same period, while the 32 GB Pixel XL will hold customers back by $32.08 a month for 24 months and the 128 GB variant by $36.24 a month for the same duration.
For those who are having doubts about nabbing a Phone by Google from Verizon because of software updates, there's no need to worry about that. The Big Red has said that the handsets they're selling will get updates at the same time as all the others.
More than that, they're carrier unlocked, and they're going to come with only three preloaded apps that can all be disabled in a snap — namely Go90, My Verizon and Verizon Messages.
Pixel From Best Buy
Best Buy has a couple of options to choose from: 32 GB Quite Black Pixel and 32 GB Very Silver Pixel with the Verizon branding.
Those aren't really much, but at any rate, that's one more store where buyers can get the phones.
