'Lost' and 'Misfits' alumni join 'Game of Thrones' season five

Let's be honest: Games of Thrones already has a massive cast, and it doesn't really need any additional star power to be amazing. Then again, no one's going to complain if fantastic talent joins the already-astounding cast. So - if the rumors surrounding the show are true, it seems that Game of Thrones' phenomenal cast just got even better.

Reports are in that veteran actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and actress Gwyneth Keyworth are set to join the cast of Game of Thrones for season five. Take note that a lot of this information is still unconfirmed, and could change at any time. Even so, it looks like the information is good and these two are more than likely to make an appearance on the show next season.

At the very least, it is known that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (pictured above) will play a role in Game of Thrones' upcoming season. THR has announced that the actor will play 'Malko'...and that's about it. The only details released about the character so far are his name and the fact that the character did not appear in the original novels by George R. R. Martin.

Agbaje is known for playing fan-favorite characters as his role on ABC's Lost as Mr. Eko was one of the best parts of the show (even if it was relatively short-lived). Agbaje also played Simon Edibisi on Oz to critical accaim, and most recently appeared as the Dark Elf Algrim in Thor: The Dark World.

Gwyneth Keyworth is the real mystery here. Weeks ago, a casting call for the part of a young prostitute known as Clea was announced. According to WinterIsComing.net, the role may have been given to Keyworth. As with many other cast members, Keyworth is well-known for her work on the sci-fi comedy-drama Misfits. Michelle Fairley, Nathalie Emmanuel, Josef Altin and Iwan Rheon have all made appearances on Game of Thrones as well, and if Keyworth was indeed cast, it looks like she'll just continue the trend.

Again, Keyworth's casting is still just a rumor, though given the similarities between what the casting call was looking for and Keyworth herself, it's certainly possible.

Production on the fifth season of Game of Thrones is currently underway. There are huge expectations for the next season HBO's biggest show, and while fans still have to wait until next spring to finally see the next season, it should be more than worth the wait.
