Google is expected to officially unveil the HTC Nexus tablet and Motorola Nexus 6 phablet very soon. A press image of the Nexus 6 has just leaked and comes from a reliable source.
Apple and Google are both rumored to be announcing new mobile devices in the very near future. Apple will take the wraps off its 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 and 7.9-inch second-generation iPad mini with Retina display at a press event on Oct. 16. The new tablets will join Apple's extremely popular and sold out iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Google is also set to unveil new flagship devices; the HTC Nexus 9 tablet and Motorola Nexus 6 phablet in the immediate future. Both devices will be the launch vehicles for Android L, the most significant update to Google's smartphone and tablet OS in years.
The Nexus 6 has been leaking over the last couple of weeks and most recently the 5.9-inch phablet was spotted in the wild and in use during a commute. An image of what is reportedly a press image of the Nexus 6 has just leaked online captured for us by the always reliable evleaks. The image matches previously leaked images of the phablet, including what appears to be its rumored aluminum frame that made its debut on Motorola's just-released flagship Moto X.
The leaked Nexus 6 image also shows Android L on board, as evidenced by the redesigned Back, Home, Recent Apps buttons and new Status Bar. The Nexus 6 is expected to feature a 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display, powerful 2.6-GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3 GB of RAM. The phablet will reportedly be available in both 16 GB and 32 GB storage capacities. Its camera capabilities will consist of a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies. The Nexus 6 is said to ship with a large 3,200 mAh battery, which will certainly help power that large Quad HD display.
