'Fallout 4' Nuka World Trailer Shows Off The DLC's Deadly Amusement Park

A new trailer for Fallout 4's final major piece of DLC has arrived, and it looks every bit as amusing as its amusement park theme implies.

The trailer goes through all the various parts of the Nuka World theme park that players will be able to explore when the DLC finally arrives at the end of August. There's a space-themed portion of the Nuka-Cola theme park, as well as as areas dedicated to the Wild West and the animal kingdom. There's also an area of the park specifically for kids.

Here are all of the unique park zones players will be able to explore later this month: Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, Galactic Zone and Nuka-Town, USA.

Of course, Nuka World is hardly a vacation in its current post-apocalyptic form. The entire park is filled with dangerous enemies both old and new, including raiders, ghouls and what look to be the graboid worms from Tremors. That's not even taking into account all of the dangerous amusement park rides that players will have to survive on their quest, including roller coasters and much, much more.

Thankfully, it looks like a number of new weapons will be at players' disposal, including the electrified ping-pong paddle featured in the game's trailer. Gamers can even become one of the "bad guys" by adopting the raider lifestyle in the DLC, something fans haven't exactly seen in a Fallout game before. That should make Nuka World unlike any piece of Fallout DLC to come before it.

Driving the theme of the DLC home is the Nuka World jingle that plays over the trailer, which invites players to explore a place "with all the zip of Nuka Cola" and calls the park the happiest place in the world. Check out the trailer for yourself below and see if you agree.

Nuka World should be a fitting conclusion to Fallout 4's DLC offerings, which included the large expansion Far Harbor earlier this year as well as a number of smaller pieces of DLC content that allowed players more options in customizing their settlements and even added the ability for players to create their own vaults. Nuka World will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Aug. 30. Meanwhile, Bethesda is still hard at work on delivering mods for Fallout 4 owners on PlayStation 4.
