Now that we are entering the last month of summer, it's time to really make the most out of being on vacation mode. That means making sure to do the two most relaxing summer activities: spending sunny days at the beach beach and cooling off while chilling out with movies or TV series.
Since many people might've finally gotten a membership for Amazon Prime to celebrate Christmas shopping in July for the second-annual Prime Day, there is no better time than now to start streaming content on Prime Video.
However, those who didn't splurge on the $99 annual subscription just yet can still access Amazon's streaming service via its monthly subscription or opt instead for buying movies and episodes as they come out using Amazon Video.
This month, new titles being added to the platform include the thriller Cloverfield, the classic sci-fi trilogy The Matrix and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.
Viewers will also be able to stream the Amazon original series The Kicks aimed toward pre-teens about a soccer player who moves to a new school and a new struggling team, as well as season 4 and 5 of House of Lies.
Those who prefer to skip the Prime Video subscription can purchase content via Amazon Video, with new movies like the live-action movie The Jungle Book and The Huntsman: Winter's War available this month, as well as season 6 of Game of Thrones.
