Samsung has a slim and svelte Notebook 7 spin in store, which arrives as a foldable Windows 10 convertible with cool specs and high portability.
The Samsung Notebook 7 spin is set to go on sale at the end of the week, sporting a sleek design, fast charging and three configurations, with the possibility of customizing it for some extra oomph. The ultrathin Notebook 7 spin follows in the footsteps of the sleek Notebook 9 series unveiled early this year, combining power with aesthetics.
The base Notebook 7 spin configuration starts at $799.99, for which you get a 13.3-inch 2-in-1 with an Intel Core i5-6200U processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive.
Next up is a 15.6-inch model with Intel Core i7-6500U horsepower, a heftier 12 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics and 1 TB of storage, going up to $999.99.
The top configuration, meanwhile, packs the same 15.6-inch display and Core i7 processor as the middle model, but rocks 16 GB of RAM, a 1 TB hard drive and a 128 GB SSD.
If none of these configurations suit your needs and preferences, you can upgrade the RAM up to 32 GB and add an SSD to the entry-level models of the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch variants.
The Samsung Notebook 7 spin also boasts rapid charging technology, which will deliver 2 hours of battery life with just a 20-minute charge. The 15.6-inch model will hit 100 percent after a 90-minute charge, while the 13.3-inch model will take 100 minutes to fully charge.
The foldable 2-in-1 further features a 360-degree touch display with a full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080) for all models, rotating to turn the device into a laptop, tent or tablet. A neat Video HDR mode is also in the mix for each variant, aiming to optimize the video experience and render more vivid colors.
Other specs and features include 4K display-out with an optional adapter, an HDMI port, a card reader, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and a USB Type-C port with transfer speeds of up to 5 GB/s. All models have a backlit keyboard, but the 13.3-inch version doesn't have a number pad.
Lastly, the Samsung Notebook 7 spin runs Windows 10 with all of the software goodies the OS has to offer.
"The Notebook 7 spin is not just a laptop - it's an entertainment go-to for movies, games, and all the web surfing you want," touts Microsoft. "The Notebook 7 spin comes packed with Windows 10 features: you can use the full HD touch screen to draw and mark up webpages in Microsoft Edge, enjoy your own personal digital assistant in Cortana and access great apps, games, movies and TV shows through the Windows Store."
The Samsung Notebook 7 spin will go on sale on June 26 on Samsung.com, BestBuy.com and at physical Best Buy retail locations.
