Microsoft has slashed the price of the Xbox One for the second time in less than a month, with bundles that were previously priced at $399 now down to only $279.
Microsoft is offering several Xbox One bundles for $279, with gamers who are interested in purchasing one given a variety of options on what they want to get alongside the Xbox One console.
All the $279 bundles come with a 500 GB version of the console, an Xbox One wireless controller and all the necessary cables.
Xbox One 500 GB Name Your Game Bundle
The Name Your Game bundle will allow players to choose from four titles as a free full game download. The four options to choose from are Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Xbox One 500 GB Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle
The Quantum Break bundle replaces the traditional black Xbox One console and controller with the cirrus white versions. In addition, gamers will receive full game downloads of Quantum Break and the Xbox 360 title Alan Wake, which is playable on the Xbox One, with two bonus episodes.
Xbox One 500 GB Gears Of War Bundle
The Gears of War Bundle gives players a full game download of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and the Superstar Cole multiplayer skin. The game is a rebuilt version of the original Gears of War, now in 1080p, with 19 maps, six game modes and five chapters in campaign that have never been released for consoles.
Xbox One 500 GB Special Edition Gears Of War Bundle
The Special Edition Gears of War Bundle, on the other hand, will replace the black Xbox One console and controller with the cirrus white versions, similar to the Quantum Break bundle. The bundle also includes a full game download of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and the Superstar Cole multiplayer skin.
Xbox One 500 GB The Lego Movie Videogame Bundle
For The Lego Movie Videogame bundle, gamers will get a free copy of The Lego Movie Videogame, which features more than 90 playable characters including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman and Gandalf.
Xbox One 500 GB With Kinect Bundle
The Kinect bundle includes Microsoft's motion sensor device for the Xbox One, along with full game downloads of Kinect Sports Rivals, Zoo Tycoon and Dance Central Spotlight.
The discounts being applied to Xbox One bundles could be in preparation for the coming launch of the Xbox One S, a slimmer and sleeker version of the gaming console that will be launched this fall.
