We've come across a lot of leaks regarding the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII movie. While this one doesn't take the cake as the best of the lot, it is still quite interesting.
As it stands, it appears Disney is aiming to incorporate a new type of Stormtrooper for the film, one that is strangely chrome. As we all know, regular Stormtroopers are dressed in white armor, but this one is dressed in chrome and probably driving on 22-inch rims.
Chances are; this chrome Stormtrooper might just be a higher ranked soldier compared to the others, or even one of the main characters. It's not every day we hear of a Stormtrooper that looks different from the others, which leads us to believe he might not be a clone.
We also can't help but play with the idea of whether or not the chrome is a special ability of the new regular armor. Maybe it allows the troopers to cloak themselves from enemy, or something else entirely. It's pretty difficult to tell what is going on here with this Stormtrooper, but one thing is for certain, we are extremely excited.
Folks should bear in mind that this leak may end up being nothing more than a fan art. We've come across similar things before in the past, so it is not too farfetched for this to be fake. Star Wars: Episode VII is the hottest thing right now, so not every leak will turn out to be legitimate.
The best thing we can do right now is to wait and see what director J.J. Abrams have to say about this chrome Stormtrooper. He, usually, tweets something cryptic to respond to rumors, so until he says something, we have to classify this as a rumor.
Still, we have to admit, this trooper looks great, especially with the hoodie on his/her head.
