Justin Bieber is no stranger to headlines, with his most recent one involving a fight with a man in Cleveland at his hotel.
Looking at the video obtained by TMZ, it would appear the singer laid hands first on the man but wasn’t the first to throw a punch. Then again, does it matter? The “fight” lasted no longer than 15 seconds but it did end up with the Biebs on the ground before it got broken up.
According to TMZ, the other guy is Lamont Richmond. Apparently, Lamont asked Bieber for a picture and an autograph for some of his lady friends (obviously unaware of the singer’s new rule) when Bieber snapped back, “No autographs tonight, motherf*****” (obviously unaware that some people might be unaware of his new rule).
No one’s going to take being talked to like that sitting down, of course.
On the other hand, Entertainment Tonight claims that an eyewitness said that the fight began after Richmond stepped in while Bieber was talking to one of his lady friends. The singer told him that he would f**k him up and that’s when fists started flying.
Again, no one's going to take being talked to like that sitting down.
Both parties involved appear to be unhurt but TMZ said that Richmond is planning on suing Bieber.
The fight is just the latest in the string of issues the singer has been involved in, including the erratic behavior he’s been showing, which it turns out is troubling not just the general population of the world but his inner circle as well.
“People around Justin are nervous about him and worry that he could have a breakdown,” said a source.
Apparently, Bieber had just come from Game 3 of the NBA Finals when the fight occurred. Maybe he was just stressed and took it out on Richmond? He did get booed when he was showed on the jumbotron, despite coming to the game as a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It also didn’t help that the singer was being harassed by people walking by as he made his way back to the hotel. Bieber was already not in the best of moods coming from the game (even though the Cavs won) so to be made fun of some more surely put him on edge.
Still, it doesn’t look like Bieber let the fight get to him. He took to Instagram later in the evening, posting (and then deleting) a photo with the caption “Not a scratch on this pretty boy.”
Maybe when he’s got some free time he’ll get around to rethinking who he hires for his security because those guys with him in Cleveland certainly did not get the job done.
