Play Nintendo Tour Is Kicking Off This Summer For 3DS Fans: Here's What You Need To Know

Taking its inspiration from the Play Nintendo webpage, Nintendo is offering a Play Nintendo Tour this summer for families, kids, and more importantly, kids-at-heart.

The event will include different setups in its play area where worlds from various Nintendo games will be brought to life:

Yoshi's New Island has a Yoshi Egg that can be hopped onto as visitors traverse the game while an oversized Yoshi Egg is also available for photo ops;

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D has giant banana recliners provided and a barrel for selfies with Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong;

Kirby: Planet Robobot has pink beanbags for visitors to sit on as they explore Nintendo's newest game, set for a release on June 10;

New Super Mario Bros. 2 has the game's flagpole, warp pipe and a pile of coins while the Mario Kart 7 area has a blue Shiny Shell for image captures;

• The Yo-kai Watch section recreates the game's Springdale town with Yo-kai wandering about.

• And finally, the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire region has a giant Pokéball waiting for visitors to take a snap with.

Along with gameplay stations and photo opportunities, Nintendo also has unique contests in each section, including an oversized Nintendo 3DS system, which offers rewards for the successful few while supplies last.

The Play Nintendo Tour will start on June 17 and will be travelling across the country's malls until September 5:
