Fallout 4's latest expansion, Far Harbor, has introduced a most striking weapon, one that'll bowl over the competition. Known as the Striker, it can only be found in one location and the wasteland doesn't have much ammunition to spare.
The Striker is a shoulder-mounted bowling ball launcher than can be modified to fire-off mini nukes. It delivers pounds of blunt-force trauma. And whenever it's on target, it cues the sound of pins being bowled.
This apple did not fall far from the tree and can be found in the Far Harbor's Beaver Creek Lanes.
So to get the Striker, head south to the Beaver Creek Lanes bowling alley. Enter the building, head down to the lanes and then take the door located at the far left corner of the room.
Upon reaching the back room, take a right and head down the stairs. Cross the next room and then go up the stairs in the room after that. Up the flight of stairs, the Striker will be mounted by the window in the Manager's office — go grab it!
There should be some bowling balls resting near the Striker. While these balls are relatively scarce in places that have been nuked, there's no need to scour the entire bowling alley in search for more.
Stop by the terminal in the room where the Striker was found and read the entry "That was Close!" Doing that will unlock the recipe for crafting more bowling balls for the Striker.
Once the Striker has been found, the "Bowling Ball Launcher" mod can be slapped onto any old Fatman launcher.
One of the perks of using them as projectiles is that they can be reclaimed after being launched from the Striker. Another perk of the striker is its accuracy. It may not be precise, but a bowling ball launcher has always proven especially accurate in close quarters combat.
