The Huawei Honor 5X is up for grabs at eBay for only $159.99, making this the right time to grab the midrange smartphone.
To put the bargain in perspective, the standard price of the handset is $199.99. That's $40 off the sleek and stylish device.
Going over the hardware specifications really quick, the Huawei Honor 5X features a 5.5-inch display with a 1,080 x 1,920 resolution, clocking in at 401 ppi.
Under the hood, it's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 that's made up of a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 and another quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 along with an Adreno 405.
It also has 2 GB worth of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that's expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card, which has a dedicated slot for it.
To stay alive throughout the day, it's fitted with a 3,000 mAh battery pack, but it's not removable.
While it's going to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, the smartphone maker has already promised last month that Android 6.0 Marshmallow will arrive "soon."
As for the other notable features, it sports a fingerprint scanner and "aircraft-grade aluminum made with four metal finishing processes."
However, before nabbing one, it should be pointed out that it's only compatible with GSM carriers such as AT&T and T-Mobile. That means it won't work with Verizon, Sprint and U.S. Cellular.
To keep the good news rolling, the eBay seller is ol' reliable Newegg, and that more or less assures the quality of the product. On top of that, shipping is free, but that only applies to U.S. buyers.
At the time of this writing, it's available in all the colors — gold, gray and silver — but it's about to end in roughly two days' time.
Does this bargain tickle your fancy? Then head on over to eBay to seal the deal for this $159.99 Honor 5X. Let us know in the comments section below if you think it's worthwhile to get in on the action.
