Final Fantasy fanatics might be glad to know that the smartphone game which earlier debuted in Japan, the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, is heading to Android and iOS devices in the United States.
Slated to hit mobile devices this coming summer, the full-scale Final Fantasy mobile game has also been confirmed to be playable during this year's E3 at the company's booth beginning June 14 through June 16. The goal is to provide fans a sneak peek of this hotly anticipated mobile game.
The game follows the adventures of two knights of the kingdom of Grandshelt, Lasswell and Rain, specifically on their journey to get a mythical crystal. The game's story also involves following a young lass "who suddently appears before them."
In this Final Fantasy title, gamers will have to traverse through an array of dungeons to hunt for hidden paths, items plus new routes.
Considering that Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is going to use a free-to-play model with microtransactions, a report from We Got This Covered predicts that the easiest way to use existing characters, such as Zidane and Terra, "will involve shelling out some cash."
It is worth mentioning that the development of the game is presently being handled by Gumi, renowned for Brave Frontier, a hit mobile RPG.
Players who wish to get the first dibs of this new mobile game can now sign up on the official Final Fantasy Brave Exvius website. Gamers who register wil be given in-game bonuses at the game's launch in the United States.
If Brave Exvius does not pique your interest, you can still find other Final Fantasy titles out there that may catch your fancy.
In February, Tech Times reported on the surprise launch of Final Fantasy IX for Android and iOS, bringing with it a slew of gameplay functionalities and a special price but for a limited time only.
The original PlayStation version of this title has been deemed the best Final Fantasy game by hardcore fans.
Among the new features put into the game include various minigames, synthesis (putting two items together), and Trance Mode along with new abilities.
We also delved on a report that excited fans of the Final Fantasy XV can already get a taste of the game scheduled to be unveiled on Sept. 30 via the Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo. The demo is available for download on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at no cost.
Do note, though, that this demo version is not lifted from the official Final Fantasy XV game.
