"Your security is our top priority. Fingerprint profiles are stored in a dedicated space embedded within the hardware, created with the help of Qualcomm Secure Execution Environment. No person or software is able to gain access or copy your fingerprints. Not even you," says Xiaomi.

It is highly likely that the Mi Max may also make its way to the United States via third-party retailers in the near term.
