Samsung wins 24 International CES 2014 awards

Samsung continues to stamp its dominance in the technology industry as an innovative company by winning 24 International CES 2014 Innovations Awards.

In last 10 years, the South Korean company has managed to bag total of 258 awards, highest ever by any manufacturer.

The 24 awards won by Samsung include two Best of Innovation awards and three Eco-Design honors. Products that are put up in the CES are judged by independent panels who are industries' leading designers and engineers.

"Samsung continues to create superior groundbreaking products as well as unique content and services," said Y.K. Kim, president and CEO, Samsung Electronics North America. "We are honored that CEA and the industry recognize this commitment, and we look forward to sharing our latest product innovations at the 2014 International CES."

The products that Samsung Electronics won, fall in the categories of Video Display; Home Audio/Video Components; Wearable Tech; Tablet, E-Reader, and Mobile Computing; Home Appliance; Digital Imaging and Mobile Memory.

The products will go on display during the International CES 2014, which is scheduled from January 7 to January 10 next year. The CES is the world's largest consumer technology trade-show held annually by Consumer Electronics Association.
