Tablet Deal: 12.9-inch iPad Pro On Sale For $639 Compared To Apple's $799

The iPad Pro has been billed as a laptop replacement thanks to its powerful A9X processor and large 12.9-inch 2,732 x 2,048 display. The flagship tablet is currently on sale for $639 compared to Apple's current price of $799.

Apple appears to be phasing out its "Air" branding for a more simplified standard and pro lineup of devices. Its recently launched MacBook is thinner and lighter than the current MacBook Air models, which haven't received major updates and are reportedly on the way out. Reports have claimed Apple plans on discontinuing the MacBook Air in favor of simplifying its laptop series to just MacBook and MacBook Pro.

We saw Apple move away from the "Air" branding when it recently introduced the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which features the same design as 2014's iPad Air 2. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro joins its larger sibling, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro in Apple's answer to Microsoft's popular Surface Pro lineup.

The 32 GB 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a starting price of $799 on Apple's online store but a new deal from eBay brings the price down to $639.99 for a limited time.

The Apple iPad Pro boasts a gorgeous 12.9-inch 2,732 x 2,048 Retina display with a high pixel density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi) and is powered by Apple's latest A9X processor and M9 coprocessor. It includes 32 GB of internal storage, packing in an 8-megapixel rear iSight camera, 1.2-megapixel front-facing FaceTime HD camera, and four stereo speakers on the top and bottom of the tablet.

Apple has also added a new port to the iPad Pro called Smart Connector, which allows both data and power to be transferred and enables users to easily add new accessories to the tablet, like Apple's Smart Keyboard. There's also built-in support for Apple's new precision stylus, Apple Pencil.

The 32 GB 12.9-inch iPad Pro is on sale for a limited time via eBay for $639.999 and is available in choice of Space Gray, Gold, and Silver.
