Netflix sure knew how to keep our spirits high in April, thanks to the season 2 release of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. However, now that the giddiness we felt while streaming the series has subsided, it's time to find our next Netflix fix.
It might be time for a change of pace and leave the happy-go-lucky comedy for a darker and more sinister series. Perfect for us, because the platform will debut its House of Cards-like new original series Marseille. Starring Gérard Depardieu as Mayor Robert Taro, this character seems like he could end up being a whole lot like Frank Underwood.
Also in May comes the return of the dramatic thriller Bloodline that will follow the Rayburns as they try to cover up a crime, as well as season 2 of the hit foodie series Chef's Table and the comedy Grace and Frankie. If you really want to laugh, make sure to stream the return of Chelsea Handler in her new Netflix series, titled Chelsea.
Don't forget to tune in to the Netflix original movie The Do-Over starring Adam Sandler and David Spade, as well as other movies coming to the platform, like everyone's favorite cheerleader flick Bring it On, the classic high school film Sixteen Candles and the movie based on books from our childhood Goosebumps.
