When A Team Photo Shoot Turns Into A Faux Assassin's Creed Cover

At 28, with an NBA MVP and championship under his belt, Stephen Curry already has plenty of hoop fans believing he's the greatest shooter of all time.

Further evidence of that would be Curry's record-setting 402 three-pointers made this season, completely eviscerating the 286 shots he nailed from beyond the arc last year.

Now, one fan has taken Curry being the ultimate marksman to another level - as the cover subject of the wildly popular Assassin's Creed title.

You have to love social media. The Photoshopped image of Curry was spawned from the Golden State Warriors' recent team fashion photo shoot, which was ridiculed and roasted on social media for hours Wednesday night over the images' uncanny resemblance to a high school yearbook's photos. Hey, the Warriors did it to themselves ... and the Internet responded like only it could.

But this stroke of genius takes it to another level. Someone even plastered the same Curry image in the bicycle basket that E.T. sat in during a scene of the iconic 1982 film. We're sure Curry will laugh this off, though.

After all, wouldn't you if you won the league's MVP and captured your first NBA title and you're in position to accomplish both goals, again? Not to mention, his Warriors just broke Michael Jordan's 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' 72-win season last week, notching a record-breaking 73 wins for the best regular season in NBA history.

Topping all that is that the Warriors are currently owners of a commanding 2-0 lead over the Houston Rockets in their first-round series ... and Curry rested his sprained ankle in Game 2 and might do the same in Game 3 tonight.

All this being said, Ubisoft might want to consider running with this idea and making Curry a character in the game. Why not?
