Samsung has launched a promotional offer where you can get a $30 gift card after making your first three purchases via Samsung Pay.
Samsung launched its digital wallet and mobile payment system - Samsung Pay - in South Korea in August 2015 and in September 2015 in the U.S. In March this year, Samsung Pay was made available in China and the service is expected to roll out in more regions in 2016.
Samsung Pay works just like Apple Pay and Android Pay. With the service, customers can make online and in-store purchases where NFC-based payments are accepted. The payment process is also very easy and customers can pay by holding the smartphone near a payment terminal, swiping up and scanning their fingerprint.

"As the leader in innovation, Samsung is proud to introduce the first mobile payment solution that allows you to pay almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your card today."
Samsung has been trying to promote Samsung Pay since its launch. In March this year, the Korean smartphone maker was enticing Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge customers with a Samsung Pay promo offer. Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge customers who successfully activated and completed a purchase via Samsung Pay were given $30 gift card.
In a bid to attract more customers to the payment service, Samsung has announced a similar promo for Samsung Pay, where eligible customers can get a $30 gift card.
"Get a free $30 gift card for making your first three successful purchases in Samsung Pay from April 15th to May 10th or while supplies last," says Samsung.
The catch is that customers should have not used their Samsung Pay before the offer period of April 15.
According to Samsung's terms and conditions, the $30 gift card promo offer is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Eligible customers should be over 18 years old and own one of the qualifying devices: Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge.
The device should be already registered for Samsung Pay before the commencement of the offer period. The $30 gift card can be used at one of the four selected Samsung Pay merchants: Best Buy, eBay, Game Stop or Regal Entertainment.
