Gone are the days when all fans know about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story are rumors and fan theories about the lead characters or rely on a cast photo from back in August 2015 to fuel our imaginations. The spinoff film from Director Rian Johnson finally debuted its first trailer on April 7 but first there was a 10-second teaser about it to whet everyone's appetites.
On April 6, the official Star Wars YouTube account released its announcement teaser, along with information of when and where to tune in in order to be one of the first people to see the trailer. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's brand new teaser trailer will be revealed on Good Morning America, so fans better wake up early to be one of the first people to see it.
But just what is in the 10-second teaser that gives fans an idea of how much chaos they might see in the film? A black stormtrooper standing guard in the foreground, black stormtroopers some distance behind him and what looks like a base burning in the background.
Add the musical score to that and it somehow gives the viewers a feeling that we may just see an infamous Sith Lord in the video Good Morning America will air. If it is not him, then perhaps some of the Rebels would make their attack on the unsuspecting black stormtroopers.
Either way, we all finally get to see something new and official from the production that is not your usual lightsaber fight or discussion about The Force. After all, LucasFilm President Kathleen Kennedy did say that Rogue One will be from a ground war perspective.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is slated for a December 16 release.
