The Division General Assembly Glitch: Shortcut Allows You To Farm Purple Drops In Half The Time

A newly uncovered The Division General Assembly glitch enables players to slide through gates and skip a huge chunk of the game's final mission.

Redditor TheSimplyJay shared this The Division exploit that allows players to significantly cut down the process of purple farming by greatly shortening the mission.

The General Assembly mission is undeniably packed with quite a few purple drops, particularly in the second half of this mission. Getting to this part of the mission, though, may be a bit dragging. By following the shortcut guide TheSimplyJay provided, going through General Assembly's first portion will be a breeze.

In the YouTube video showing off this The Division glitch, players have to use the mobile cover perk to magically slide through the barriers, which include two gates and the U.N. building entrance.

With the help of this exploit, players are able to slide past the LMB and the courtyard that is crammed with laser turrets and head right into the U.N. building.

Upon bypassing the doorways, players have to kill Raptor and Domino in the amphitheater to earn three purple drops for each kill. In the final helicopter showdown, gamers will snag four purple drops.

For gamers to to activate the checkpoint, they will have to kill themselves at some point. This serves as a consequence for avoiding the turrets in the beginning of the story mission.

Speaking of the beginning of the mission, players have to keep in mind to ignore the JTF officer so as not to trigger the deadly turrets. Moreover, they should remember not to take the explosives that will be used in opening the gates.

This The Division exploit is deemed beneficial not just for cutting the mission's length in half and advancing toward General Assembly's second half, but to save up on medkits and time as well.

Now, before Ubisoft pushes out an update to fix this glitch, you have to grab this opportunity while it is still available.

We have yet to know whether a fix for this glitch will be packed in a patch Ubisoft is scheduled to roll out on April 12, which aims to fix a major game-breaking bug.

We'll be sure to keep you posted when this upcoming update is finally released.
