Heroes Of The Storm players will have a new hero to choose from to defend their bases and conquer the enemy's side.
Tracer is the first Overwatch character and the latest addition to Heroes of the Storm. Her gameplay is unique and different from other heroes as she is the first character who can attack enemies while moving. Tracer also has one heroic ability that can be upgraded in three different ways depending on the player's preferred style.
Tracer's alleged trait and skills, translated from IGN Latin America, are as follows:
Her main trait is "Reload" which enables Tracer to attack enemies while moving. Her basic attacks consume ammunition and players can activate this trait to reload within 0.75 seconds. This trait also automatically activates when the character's ammo reaches zero.
Tracer's first ability, which is assigned to the letter "Q" is called "Flashing." When activated, Tracer will move towards the target location quickly. This skill has three charges and takes 6 seconds to cooldown.
The next ability, assigned to the letter "W" is "Melee." When activated, Tracer damages an enemy closest to her. If Tracer hits a normal mob, the skill gives five charges to "Pulse Bomb." If Tracer hits a hero, 10 charges are added to "Pulse Bomb." This skill takes 8 seconds to cooldown.
"Regression" is the next ability and is assigned to the letter "E." This skill allows Tracer to jump back to her previous location during the last three seconds. It also reloads ammunition and clears any negative stats that Tracer may have acquired. The ability also makes Tracer invulnerable for 1 second. "Regression" takes 30 seconds to cooldown.
Her only heroic ability, "Pulse Bomb," is assigned to the letter "R" and is unlocked at Level 1. Tracer will throw a bomb that will attach itself to the first enemy that it encounters and can either do an area of effect (AOE) damage or double damage to a single enemy.
At level 10, players can further utilize the skill by picking a talent from three choices: "Adhesive Bomb," "Quantum Event" and "Pulse Ammo."
"Adhesive Bomb" increases the AOE range of "Pulse Bomb" by 50 percent and enemies that are hit will have 60 percent decreased speed for three seconds. "Quantum Event" removes the AOE damage, but instead adds 15 percent to the maximum damage dealt by the "Pulse Bomb" to a single enemy. Lastly, "Pulse Ammo" doubles the AOE range of "Pulse Bomb" and gives Trace 50 percent more "Pulse Bomb" charges.
Tracer will be unlocked on April 19 for gamers who preordered a digital copy of Overwatch: Origins Edition for PC. Players who preordered the Origins Edition on other platforms can unlock Tracer once they get their copies on May 24. For other players, Tracer can be purchased from the in-game store starting April 26.
