The upcoming version, v733.0, will be updating console users with recently released PC version updates, v237 through v238, bringing both platforms on the same page.
The new event scheduled for release after the Easter egg hunt event that ran from March 25 - March 31 on the PC version, involves localized "Extinction Event" servers. These servers have been configured to have in-game timers that reset after each month.
Gameplay improvements involve: approximately 10 percent increased frames per second (FPS) for both rendering and CPU; the "Focus" button has been fixed to not appear on top of the "Leave Tribe" button which previously caused unwanted teleportation for console players; players stuck underground will be automatically teleported above ground which was reportedly previously abused as a glitch; mammoth skins have been patched to avoid weird colored textures that broke the feel of the game; under "Reset Options," timer values have been updated to correctly use their specified values and not reset to zero; split screen users can now use the "Spyglass" properly.
Server-specific updates include: players who own servers can now specify a list of users who can access administrative commands as is available in PC versions, this option will always be available for non-dedicated hosts and any user who has access to administrative commands can input codes on the "Pause" menu; edit boxes have been provided in server options wherein players can now input arbitrary values.
Game content added include the all-new Snow and Swamp Caves, as well as three additional creatures which add to the game's existing lineup of available species.
The new "Basilosaurus" which was previously teased on the developer's page has not been confirmed.
