Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge vs. Hydraulic Press: Don't Ask If The Smartphone Survived

It seems that drop tests, scratch tests and other sorts of torture tests to prove if a new gadget is indeed incredible or heavy duty are already things of the past, at least for some YouTubers.

A new video uploaded by Slickwraps, Inc. with the title “400 Ton Hydraulic Press vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge” is undoubtedly making a buzz online as it shows how the latest flagship will do between two big chunks of metal.

There is no need to ask if this premium phone, regarded as among the most advanced today, lived to tell the tale. What makes the video rather exciting are the flickers, bangs, whistles, smokes and flames coming out of the press while this phone is being packed down.

The black fluid oozing out of the Galaxy S7 Edge adds to the drama. Yes, imagine a "bleeding" phone.

Hit the play button below and see for yourself how this phone transforms into a pancake.

Apparently, people post hilarious comments about this video.

“Wait was it still alive for a while at 1:05,” one user says.

“At least the camera hump is gone,” comments another.

One user even went as far as saying that Slickwraps, Inc. should also “give iPhone 6s a try.”

In the meantime, someone on YouTube, named Max Lee, tried putting the Samsung Galaxy S7 into an LG washing machine.

Lee says in the video’s description that the device was left in the washing machine for a full cycle of 45 minutes in the water.

“FYI, I almost had a heart attack making this video so please thumbs up thx!” says Lee.

At one point in the video, Lee assumes that the smartphone's screen has shattered and is broken into numerous pieces, but he managed to locate it in one piece.
