Martha Stewart Takes Aziz Ansari's Hoverboard For A Joyride

Martha Stewart has worn many hats over the past few decades: empress of a business empire, writer, television personality, felon, comeback kid — the list goes on and on. However, we can now put one more feather in her hat, thanks to a photo posted on Twitter: potential future professional X-Games hoverboarder.

In a photo taken and posted to the social media platform on March 23, Stewart is pictured on a two-wheel self-balancing scooter inside of what appears to be a marble-floored lobby, as an unidentified man holds her hand.

"Aziz let me use his hover board [sic] before dinner but after champagne Really easy but be careful of antiques!" the tweet read.

So, is the Aziz in question the former Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari? While the man holding Martha's hand in the photo is definitively not Aziz Ansari, it seems that the board most likely belongs to him, according to the general Internet consensus. Hypothetically, the famous comedian and Master of None creator could be the man behind the (phone) camera.

It's difficult to pick out the best of this tweet and accompanying photo. Is it that Martha Stewart and Aziz Ansari are supposedly actual friends? Is it because Martha Stewart, despite engaging in behavior that would have most people kicked out of most establishments, tweeted to "be careful of the antiques?" Or is it because "champagne before dinner" is usually code for "very, very tipsy?"

While Stewart might be associated with a more traditional home and leisure set, she's no stranger to being technologically savvy. In 2014, the cookbook author penned an essay for Time Magazine about how much she loves her personal drone, summarizing with "imagine what Louis XIV could have accomplished at Versailles if he'd had one."

Considering the extensive bans on hoverboards these days due to their propensity to randomly combust, as The Cut said, "only Martha Stewart is allowed to hoverboard."
