'World Of Warcraft' Fan Trying To Hit Level 100 With 'Dance-Dance Revolution' Controller

It's no secret that World of Warcraft is a huge game. After nearly 10 years on the market and five different expansion packs, the game has more content in it than some entire gaming franchises — and it can take months of play to even come close to max out a player's level, much less actually hitting the cap.

It takes the sort of dedication that most games wouldn't even think to ask of the player ... of course, that's one of the reasons why hitting the max level is so satisfying.

Simply put, hitting Level 100 is already a huge feat, and one that many World of Warcraft players never accomplish — which is what makes Twitch streamer Rudeism's current run all the more impressive.

Not only is Rudeism taking on the challenge of leveling a new World of Warcraft character as much as he possibly can, he's doing the entire thing using nothing but a pair of old Dance-Dance Revolution controllers. That's right: he's playing through the world's biggest MMO with nothing but his feet.

Most people would assume that playing World of Warcraft with a pair of dance pads would be downright impossible — or if it were, it'd be a huge chore. Moving around and jumping using nothing but the buttons at your feet sounds like it'd be a huge hassle — but if you really think about it, that's just the beginning. World of Warcraft makes pretty constant use of the player's mouse, which, just like the rest of the game, Rudeism controls with his feet. Even hitting something as simple as an on-screen button requires concentration — and yet, somehow, Rudeism kept playing for upwards of three hours!

Of course, if you've ever seen someone playing Dark Souls on Twitch, this is probably nothing new: gamers have conquered From Software's action-RPG with everything from dance pads to Rock Band controllers. Who knows — maybe Rudeism's next Warcraft character will be controlled entirely via fake plastic drum set?

Rudeism's already a couple weeks into his "Dance-craft" playthrough, but he's still got quite a ways to go — if you want to watch him play through World of Warcraft live, just head on over to his official Twitch channel.
