The eagerly awaited Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge smartphones from Samsung finally hit the shelves on March 11 in the U.S.
With carriers and retailers trying to up the ante and competing with each other to offer consumers the best possible deal, we give you a low down on where to snag the unlocked flagship smartphones.
Amazon
Those of you who are eyeing the unlocked variant of the Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, Amazon has you covered. The retailer has the "F" variant of the Samsung smartphones up for grabs, which for the uninitiated are compatible with GSM networks in the U.S.
So if you are on AT&T or T-Mobile, check out the deals below. Those on Sprint and Verizon Wireless will not be able to use this variant as it's not compatible with the carriers.

AT&T
AT&T also has an enticing deal for those eyeing the Samsung flagships: buy one, get one (BOGO), as we previously reported. The offer kicked off on March 11 and is applicable to subscribers who bought either the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge on or after Feb. 26 by deploying the AT&T Next installment plan.
AT&T's Galaxy S7 32 GB unlocked model is the most expensive among all the carriers and costs $694.99. Two colors of the handset are available: black and gold.
AT&T's Galaxy S7 edge 32 GB unlocked model is also the priciest of all the carriers and costs $794.99. All three colors of the handsets are available.
Sprint
Sprint is offering the 32 GB unlocked Galaxy S7 in black and gold for $649.99, according to Forbes. Sprint's Galaxy S7 edge unlocked model is available in silver, black and gold for $749.99, making it the cheapest among all carriers.
Verizon Wireless
Verizon is offering the 32 GB unlocked Galaxy S7 in black and gold for $672. The 32 GB unlocked Galaxy S7 edge is available in silver, black and gold for $792.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile also has a BOGO offer to tempt consumers. The 32 GB unlocked Galaxy S7 is available in black and gold for $669.99. The 32 GB unlocked Galaxy S7 edge is available in silver, black and gold for $779.99.
eBay
Those looking for a great deal on the unlocked Galaxy S7 smartphone can grab it for $100 less from the online marketplace. However, only the gold remains in stock and the other two hues are sold out. Head to eBay before stocks run out, but you'll need to dole out $599.99. This option is compatible GSM, LTE and HSDPA+.
