Blink And You'll Miss Them: Here's What The New 'Game Of Thrones' Trailer Can Reveal About Season 6

The first official trailer for season 6 of HBO's “Game of Thrones” may have been filled with fast cuts but if you look closely enough, you'll find a wealth of information for the upcoming season that, for the first time, expands the world of Westeros and Essos beyond the scope of the original “A Song of Ice And Fire” novels of George R.R. Martin.

First, we see confirmation of the news that Kit Harington himself broke recently – that Jon Snow is indeed back on the show, albeit just the corpse of him for now.

Ships are also seen sailing into King's Landing which we assume is Jaime Lannister bringing home the body of Princess Myrcella, who was murdered with a Sand Snake kiss in her last scene from season 5. Her grieving uncle/father vows to Cersei that they will take back everything that has been taken from them and more.

Back up north, Ramsay Bolton plots what to do since his prized Sansa Stark has ran away as the Red Woman laments that all the visions of victory she saw in the flames were a lie.

Across the sea, Ser Jorah finds the ring that Dany left behind right before the khalasar took her in as she is forced to walk as a captive.

High Sparrow plots overthrowing an empire after his victory of making Queen Cersei make her walk of shame back to the castle.

And we see that Sansa, Tyrion, Arya, Little Bird, Bran and other players are still very much in the terrifying great game that surrounds them all.

Cersei, a master of the game so far, says she chooses violence to gain her upper hand once again.

We are then treated to a montage of all the violence, sex and intrigue that will happen when the show returns on April 24.

But what we are most anxiously waiting for, as revealed in the trailer, is what exactly the Onion Knight has planned as he take up Jon Snow's sword by his corpse. Could it be part of a battle for the late Lord Commander's life?

We can't wait for the games to resume!
