Sometimes, all we really want is a good laugh. While we can stream the latest comedy titles offered by the three popular streaming services Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Instant Video, NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises launched its very own ad-free streaming channel called Seeso that is dedicated solely to the genre.
Seeso features a library of comedy titles that include stand-up and live streaming comedy specials, original series, classic favorites and full episodes of TV shows like Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which is available the next day after it airs on NBC.
For just $3.99 per month (or check out a selection of originals and sketches for free), users will be able to stream on-demand new titles that are released each week from their iOS and Android devices, as well as on their desktop. Get your spirit fingers ready, because new content coming in March includes the cheerleader comedy Bring it On, as well as a few new series that are premiering, including new episodes of The Cyanide & Happiness Show, which is based on the Web comic and New York's Funniest, the competition film at the famed Carolines on Broadway.
Other new titles include Bajillion Dollar Properties, a spoof on reality shows like Million Dollar Listing, which stars Dan Ahdoot, Tim Baltz, Ryan Gaul, Mandell Maughan, Tawny Newsome, Drew Tarver and Paul F. Tompkins, and the improv show Big Jay Oakerson's What's Your F@%king Deal?!, starring the New Jersy native comedian Jay Oakerson.
