To get the beta version of Hitman out to more gamers, IO Interactive has teamed up with AMD to grant game access to PC users who will purchase hardware from the company.
The offer covers qualified purchases from participating retailers and e-tailers of AMD Radeon R9 390/390X graphics card, 6-/8-core FX CPU, or select System Integrator desktop that contains the mentioned Radeon products. Users will also be gaining access to the beta version of the title, which will run from Feb. 19 to 22.
"The game is designed to end you - get AMD in your arsenal and arm yourself with cutting-edge support for DirectX 12 and the latest 4K gaming," says AMD.
Hitman is a part of AMD's Gaming Evolved program, with the title hosting graphic-intensive features for DirectX 12 such as asynchronous compute engines that lead to better graphic quality without sacrificing performance.
The AMD bundles for Hitman will be offered up to April 30 or until the stocks run out, with the game code redeemable until June 30.
Square Enix seems to be leading the charge into the maximization of DirectX 12, with the company's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided previously announced as using the technology, and rumors claiming that Rise of the Tomb Raider will do the same.
The latest installment in Square Enix and IO Interactive's Hitman franchise, which was supposedly released in Dec. 8, 2015, saw its launch date pushed back to March 11. The decision to delay the release was made in order to give the developer more time to add content into the game upon launch, which will be followed by a tighter frequency of updates.
The release date is fast approaching, and it seems that Hitman is on track as the beta versions of the title are set to launch within the month. PlayStation 4 gamers, in fact, are now enjoying exclusive first access to the beta version, which includes two missions from the past of the franchise's iconic character, Agent 47.
