This week in World Wrestling Entertainment has been all about Daniel Bryan.
Ever since the former World Heavyweight champion announced his retirement on Monday Night Raw earlier this week, WWE has been using the subsequent days to tribute and salute one of the most dynamic superstars that the company and WWE Universe has ever seen.
WWE's various social media outlets — whether it's Facebook or Twitter — have reflected that.
On Thursday, WWE kept its tribute for Bryan going, rewinding to his last match with the company, posting an April 16, 2015 tag team match on SmackDown on its YouTube account.
As the first entrant down to the ring for the bout, the then-Intercontinental champion raised the roof on the arena, getting thousands of fans to simultaneously chant "Yes! Yes! Yes!" That paved the way for his tag team partner, John Cena, to join him in the ring.
Their opponents? None other than Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, led out to the ring by WWE diva Natalya.
Although Bryan had no idea that match would be his final WWE bout, he certainly put forth an effort like he knew it would be, saving a struggling Cena and storming into the ring like a ball of fire.
After delivering a drop toehold on Kidd into the turnbuckle, Bryan blasted him with his trademark kicks and trapped him in the Yes Lock, getting him to tap out, while Cena simultaneously buried Cesaro with an Attitude Adjustment.
Bryan definitely made his final day in the office a memorable one.
