Grand Theft Auto Online is celebrating Valentine's Day the only way it knows how: with more guns, cars and clothes to customize your character with. Oh, and a new multiplayer mode as well.
Out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC players, the latest update to Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer component brings back all of the items and extra from last year's Valentine's Day event, as well as a few new goodies.
For starters, there is a new vehicle for purchase in the form of the Albany Roosevelt Valor. If you're looking for a new outfit for Valentine's Day, Rockstar games has you covered. They've added new suits, vests, bustiers, boxer shorts, stockings and more to the game. They've also brought back the Gusenburg Sweeper machine gun, which players can purchase at the Ammu-Nation store in-game.
That's just the start of GTA Online's holiday festivities. Come Friday, Rockstar will unveil a brand new adversary game mode called "Till Death Do Us Part." Rockstar isn't saying what exactly the mode will consist of just yet, but if it's anything like the previous special game modes added in recent months, such as Halloween's slasher movie inspired game type, it should definitely be worth checking out. You can read more about the GTA Online update over on Rockstar's official blog.
Rockstar isn't the only developer getting in on the Valentine's Day fun. Bungie, the developer of Destiny, recently launched its new Crimson Days event, which just so happens to also feature a multiplayer focused Valentine's themed game mode.
