The Division's closed beta wrapped up a few weeks back, but in another few weeks the game will be available to any gamer interested in taking Ubisoft's latest for a spin.
Xbox One owners will be once again getting 24 hour early access to the open beta, starting on Feb. 18. PlayStation 4 and PC players will be able to get in on the action the following day, Feb. 19. The beta will then come to a close at the end of the weekend on Feb. 21.
For those who already played the game's closed beta, there is a little extra incentive to dive in once again. A new story mission will be available for players to try out, and players who log in during the beta will receive a special in-game reward when the game launches in March. Of course, once the two story missions are finished, players can spend countless hours in the game's high-risk, high-reward player vs. player area, the "Dark Zone." Ubisoft says no further beta tests are planned at this time.
The game's file size was recently revealed thanks to a listing on the official Xbox Store, and the full game will take up almost as much space as the beta. Where the closed beta featured a 27 GB install size, the full game will clock in at around 32 GB.
The Division releases on March 8 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. You can check out some of our impressions from the closed beta here.
