The hit show "American Horror Story" on the FX network is gaining more and more speed as the months go by. With new castings seemingly happening every other week, the production has just added a very small oddity to the show's cast.
For the program's fourth season, "American Horror Story" has just added the world's smallest woman to the cast. The actress, Jyoti Amge, holds the Guinness World Record at a diminutive 61.95 centimeters tall. The new casting was revealed by the hit show's co-creator Ryan Murphy.
The fourth season of the hit show co-stars Academy Award winner Jessica Lange, along with series regulars Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Emma Roberts. The show also will also be adding Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock and Patti LaBelle. Also signed is actor John Carroll Lynch as the main villain of the season.
The fourth season has Oscar winner Lange portraying the manager of one of the last US "freak shows" and its attractions set in Florida in the 1950s.
The record breaking small actress will apparently have quite a large part in the fourth seasons narrative. At just 2 feet and .6 inches tall, this is Jvoti Amge's first acting role. Previously she appeared on the documentary "Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen" and also "Bigg Boss 6," a "Big Brother" type reality show in her home country.
The fourth season will do what hit shows like "True Detective" do by making the show start fresh with a completely new setting and storyline. It is unclear what Amge's role will be, but it will sure be interesting to see how the tiny actress integrates into the horrors that season four of "American Horror Story" is preparing.
