British Man Falls Off Hoverboard, Thinks It's 2010

Did you know that hoverboards don't just explode, but they can also help you travel back in time?

Mark Tamlin, a 39-year-old British man, was playing with his son's hoverboard after his son told him that it was acting strangely. In fact, whenever his son stepped on it, the hoverboard reportedly started shaking violently. So, Tamlin himself stepped on, fell off and landed on his head. When he woke up, he thought it was 2010.

"I don't know what happened, but my son told me it started vibrating fast and then threw me up in the air, and I hit my head on the ground," said Tamlin in an interview with the Sun.

Thankfully, Tamlin's memory mostly returned after a few days, however, he still cannot remember the fall itself.

Of course, as Gizmodo points out, it would have been a pretty interesting thing to wake up in a hospital thinking it was 2010 and finding out you'd had a hoverboard accident — well, interesting until you found out what hoverboards of 2016 actually look like. Sure, we have hoverboards, but they have two wheels and definitely have contact with the ground, which isn't exactly what the creators of Back to the Future had in mind.
