Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer mode features exosuits and customizable weapons and it's AWESOME

Activision has just announced the new features for the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Sledgehammer Games, which was tapped to be the developer for this iteration of the popular franchise, is keeping the multiplayer gameplay fresh by introducing additions such as exoskeletons, customizable weapons and loot drops. The exoskeleton boosts the ability of players to perform actions such as dodging and jumping. It also gives gamers the ability to run faster and jump higher. There's also a boost slam that lets players inflict damage to opponents while in the air. The exoskeleton can be upgraded with abilities such as cloaking and overcharge for more energy.

The Advanced Warfare also provides users with a whole new weapon class that gives access to about 350 custom weapons. Since there are so many choices, Activision gave users a way to find their new favorite firearm. Players can soon jump into a firing range to get acquainted with their weapon of choice.

The game also features a new reward system. Advanced Warfare will come with over 1,000 in-game player rewards. There's also "limitless" options for customization. Activision claims that there are more than two billion unique player combinations possible within the game. There are also supply drops, which would give gamers bonuses in the form of weapons and gear.

In a press release, Activision claims that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare "offers the most in-depth, robust and advanced Call of Duty multiplayer experience ever on both next generation and current generation systems." Sledgehammer Games is also credited as a co-developer for a previous version of the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The newest edition of the game is set in 40 years into the future, with the United States locked in a war with a private security firm that was under its employ.

"We can't wait for players to discover all of the new movement, mechanics, equipment, and modes built into Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, as well as the depth of customization layered in for the most personalized Call of Duty multiplayer experience to date," added Sledgehammer Games co-founder and head of development Michael Condrey.

The game is being developed for Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Starting on November 3, Activision will also offer Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition, which gives players 24-hour early access to the game. The offer is free to everyone who pre-order and pick up the game in time for day zero.
