The Rock made an entertaining return to Monday Night Raw, humorously interacting with the likes of The Big Show, The Miz, and Rusev and Lana, to name a few, before making his way to the ring ... and being interrupted by the trombone-blasting The New Day.
Allowing the reigning WWE Tag-Team champions to spew their best trash talk for a while, The Rock ultimately responded by calling on his family — in the form of his cousins, The Usos. Now, The Rock has vowed that he'll participate in WrestleMania 32 in some capacity on April 3 live from AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Could a six-man tag match with The Usos against The New Day be one of the possibilities? Well, we decided to take the liberty and list five ways that The Rock could participate in WrestleMania 32 ... if you smell what we're cooking.
Six-Man Tag Match With The Usos Against The New Day
Well, of course this has to be a possibility following Raw. And why not? What a cool moment it would be to have The Rock team up with his real-life cousins in The Usos to take on The New Day. Not only would the crowd be into it, but it would actually be a great match. Plus, can you imagine a continuation of the trash-talking exchange between "The Great One" and The New Day, after The Rock already told Big E that he looks like the "Incredible Hulk banged Urkel" on Raw.
As A Special Guest Referee For Roman Reigns Vs. Triple H
If The Rock's role in WrestleMania 32 doesn't have anything to do with The Usos, perhaps it will have something to do with another family member from his famous Samoan pro-wrestling bloodline — Roman Reigns.
With Reigns screwed out of his WWE World Heavyweight title at the Royal Rumble this past Sunday night, perhaps the ultimate revenge would be for him to take on Triple H for a shot to get the championship back ... but with The Rock serving as the special guest referee.
The combination of the WWE seemingly trying to make Reigns-Triple H into a modern-day Stone Cold vs. Vince McMahon angle with The Rock's noted feud with "The Game" could make this an explosive main event.
Teaming With Ronda Rousey To Take On The McMahons
One of the highlights of WrestleMania 31 last year was The Rock and Ronda Rousey confronting Stephanie McMahon and Triple H and Rousey locking Steph in a vicious armbar, before a raucous crowd. While it seems like Triple H will have his hands tied with a match against Roman Reigns, how great would it be if The Rock and Rousey team up to take on father and daughter, Vince and Stephanie McMahon. The sheer entertainment value of this match alone would amazing.
MC'ing The Entire Pay Per View
If the WWE can't think up a clever enough way to incorporate The Rock into the action or if Dwayne Johnson doesn't want to jeopardize his booming film career, he could always raise a couple of eyebrows, yet seamlessly appear as MC of WrestleMania 32. That way, if anyone gets out of line, they'll get Rock Bottomed and maybe even feel the wrath of The People's Elbow.
The Rock Vs. The Undertaker
The Rock And The Undertaker are no strangers in the ring. But would you believe it if we told you that the two icons never fought at WrestleMania? If rumored reports pan out as true and this is the Dead Man's last stand, we can't think of a more-electric ending than "The Phenom" taking on "The Great One" in front of what could be 100,000-plus fans. What a sendoff that would be.
