Watch This 'Lord Of The Rings' Trailer Cut Like 'Suicide Squad'

A fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy, "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, which was adapted to film by Peter Jackson, decided to give the trailers of the three films an exciting update and combined them with the much-awaited film, "Suicide Squad" complete with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The video uploaded on Monday is a little below two and a half minutes and features scenes from all three Lord of the Rings films and mimics the montage presented by the trailer of "Suicide Squad." Of course, that means Lord Elrond of Rivendell takes the place of Amanda Waller who decides to establish the Ring Squad in this version.

Watch the trailer for "Suicide Squad" below and compare it with the reimagined "Lord of the Rings" trailer.

Many seem to appreciate "The Lord of the Rings" and "Suicide Squad" mashup, and why wouldn't they?

The montage was pieced together seamlessly and the chosen scenes carried the same brand of humor which the "Suicide Squad" trailer possessed. That means Gimli and Legolas received a lot of the screen time because their exchanges were pretty much the source of humor amidst the heavy story presented by the trilogy, since even Merry and Pippin's attitude took a more serious tone eventually.

The Unusual Suspect, the person who uploaded the trailer mashup, hopes his work would be seen by the cast of "The Lord of the Rings."

"Hey guys; so this mash is going down really well so let's see if we can get some LOTR celebs to see it!...(Sorry Ian [McKellen]! I screwed up and mispelled your name in the final title)," he wrote.

It seems he got his wish because Dominic Monaghan who played Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck already retweeted the video.

Perhaps not all Tolkienites would be happy with the result of his efforts, but one thing is for sure: The Unusual Suspect gets bonus points from us for including the scene where Eowyn confronts and kills the Witch-king of Angmar.
